A workflow designed around X’s paste limitations

X does not reliably accept rich clipboard visuals or code blocks. The converter separates copyable text from assets that need manual upload.

Article text

Keep the long-form hierarchy as a clean draft that can be copied into the X Article editor.

Numbered thread

Use a local fallback or OpenRouter-assisted recommendation and bullet-point thread, with posts kept within 280 characters.

Asset package

Images, tables, formulas, Mermaid diagrams, and code are organized as numbered PNG assets for upload.

Publish with a clear sequence

1

Add the article

Paste Markdown and choose the output language. The editor creates a local preview immediately.

2

Generate the bundle

Optionally configure OpenRouter to create a recommendation and expanded thread outline.

3

Copy text, upload assets

Copy the Article and thread, then upload the numbered PNG assets at their matching placeholders.

Know the boundaries

  • X ignores or strips many rich clipboard elements, so visual assets require manual upload.
  • AI thread generation requires your own OpenRouter API key and only runs when requested.
  • X Articles require an eligible X subscription; availability is controlled by X.

Frequently asked questions

Why not copy tables, Mermaid, formulas, and code directly into X?

The X editor does not reliably preserve those clipboard formats. Exporting them as numbered images produces a more predictable publishing workflow.

Is AI required?

No. The page can create a local publishing preview. AI is optional for the recommendation and expanded thread plan.

Where is my OpenRouter key stored?

It is saved in your browser’s local storage and sent only to OpenRouter when you explicitly request translation or X generation.

Build your next X Article package

Separate the writing, the thread, and the upload assets before opening X.
